The West Bengal government introduced the Jai Bangla Pension Scheme as a social security scheme to give impoverished groups in the community financial support. The West Bengal Jai Bangla Pension Scheme has two phases, namely the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe. The Taposali Bandhu Pension scheme was introduced for the scheduled caste category. The Jai Johar scheme is a scheme that has been developed for the scheduled tribe group.
– Beneficiaries will have their benefits deposited immediately into their bank accounts. – The government plans to develop a separate portal for this project soon. This scheme will help around 21 lakh individuals in the state. – Any SC/ST candidate who is over the age of 60, a widow, or a person with a disability may apply. – However, the government has not completed the budget.
– The candidate must live in the state of West Bengal permanently. – The candidate needs to fall under the BPL group. – The scheduled caste or scheduled tribe community must comprise the applicant’s membership. – The candidate cannot be older than 60 years old. – The candidate cannot be a member of any other West Bengal State pension plans.
– Visit the Jai Bangla official portal. – On the homepage, click on the “West Bengal Bangla Pension Scheme registration” option. – The application form will appear, enter all the details asked. Next, upload the required documents. – Enter the “captcha code” and click the “Submit” option. – You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. – Enter the received OTP, and click to confirm. – You will get a confirmation message and an application number on your screen. – Take a screenshot for future reference.

– You can also get a form by visiting a nearby government office. – Fill up the application form, and attach the required documents. – Then submit it to any of the following offices.The Block Development Officer if the candidate lives in a remote region. The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Commissioner if the applicant lived in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation area. The Sub-Divisional Officer if the applicant resided in Municipal or Notified areas outside the Corporation’s boundaries.

– The KMC Commissioner or the BDO/SDO will properly verify the application forms. – They will guarantee that the applicants are qualified for the program. – The BDO/SDO or Commissioner of KMC will digitize and upload all of the eligible forms that were physically deposited into the State Portal. – Via the State Portal, the District Magistrate will receive digital recommendations from the BDO and SDO including the names of the qualified individuals. – After that, the Nodal Department will get it from the District Magistrate. – Via the State Portal, the Commissioner, KMC, will directly recommend the names of qualified individuals to the Nodal Department. – The pension will be approved by the Nodal Department.
– Visit the Jai Bangla Pension Scheme official website. – Enter your registered mobile number in the given box. – After entering the captcha code, select “Generate OTP”. – Enter the received OTP in the box, and click “Submit”. – The status of your application will appear on the screen. – For future use, you can also print or download your application form.
