The Indian government has given a fresh update about the UIDAI Aadhaar to Voter ID Link. Voters can apply for a Voter ID card through the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) National Voters Services Portal. Indian people must now connect their Aadhar cards to their voter ID cards through the official portals. The Union Cabinet has approved a new Bill relating to the Aadhar Card-Voter ID Card Link. Every year, candidates above the age of 18 are eligible to register for a Voter ID Card on four separate days. The Indian government has decided to connect Aadhar to Voter ID Cards. The Aadhar Card has biometric information for each individual, reducing the chance of duplicate votes.
– Visit the official website of the NVSP Voter Portal at voterportal.eci.gov.in. – Check the Login Page and enter your mobile number, email address, or voter ID number. If you haven’t already registered, click “Create an Account” and then log in. – Enter your password and security code, then click the Login button. – Check your district and state names. – Enter personal information such as your name, father’s name, and birth date (DOB).
– Click the Search Button, and Check your information against the Government Database. – Now, open it by clicking the Feed Aadhaar No. Button. – Then input your Aadhaar number, Voter ID number, and registered cellphone number/email ID. – Then, click the Submit Button. – Now you’ve been successful. You will receive a confirmation message after linking your Aadhar to your Voter ID Card.
– Download the Voter Helpline App from the Google Play and Apple App Stores. – Open the app, choose I Agree, and then press Next. – Select Voter Registration as the first option. – Open the Electoral Authentication Form by clicking on it (Form 6B). – Let’s Get Started. – Enter your official cellphone number associated with your Aadhaar card and click Send OTP.
– Enter the OTP you received and press the Verify button. – Click Next after selecting Yes, I Have Voter ID. – Enter your voter identification number (EPIC), choose your state, and then click Fetch information. – Proceed by clicking the button. – Fill up your Aadhaar number, registered mobile number, and authentication location, then click Done. – The Form 6B preview page will appear. Check your information again and click Confirm to submit your Form 6B.
In offline mode, the Booth Level Officer (BLO) has the power to link the Aadhar Card and Voter ID card. Candidates must submit the Link Aadhar to Voter ID Application Form to the Booth Level Officer. BLO validated the information and linked Aadhar to a Voter ID Card.
– Candidates must send an SMS with their EPIC number or voter ID card number> SPACE> Aadhar number> to 166 or 51959. – Candidates must only send SMS from their registered mobile number.
Candidates can link their Aadhar cards to their voter registrations by dialling the Customer Care Number (1950). Candidates should contact 1950 and follow the Customer Care Executive’s instructions, then enter their Voter ID Card Number and Aadhaar Number to complete the connection procedure.
