The Punjab Government has launched a new initiative called Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme, the foundation of which was laid on October 12, 2021. The beneficiaries of the Punjab Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme 2022 will have access to a property card that will grant them temporary ownership rights to their property.
There are still many people in India who do not have the right to own property; in light of this, the federal government is implementing several programmes to give them the property rights of all citizens. The Punjab Government is now operating the Punjab Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme to give all people of the state the right to their properties.
The state of Punjab now has a brand-new public school with the designation Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme. The state government is now working on this issue to tackle the difficulties of the ordinary man and find a solution. In addition, all state residents will have their opinions collected, and the state government would then provide certificates to landlords proving their ownership.
All eligible inhabitants of the state who are available will be fully vetted under the Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme. Aside from that, the property card will be provided after 15 days after filing an objection. The property card will be initiated, so fulfilling the goal of the registration, and the owner of the property will be able to obtain a loan from the bank.
The major goal of the Charanjit Singh Channi-sponsored Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme 2022 is to provide state residents from such underprivileged populations the right to own the homes they have lived in for a set period. The state government’s initiative will benefit all such residents who have lived in dwellings within the “red line” for generations but have not had the title to property.
The Punjab Government will reward residents who live in residences inside the “Lal Dora” of the state’s villages and towns through this plan. About 12700 villages and metropolitan areas in the state have been included in the Chief Minister’s initiative. The Punjab Government’s Revenue Department will perform drone surveys in rural and urban regions for digital mapping.
Following that, the state government will issue qualified residents a property card, granting them property rights. The state government gives the eligible citizens their property rights for a maximum of two months. Citizens are allowed to file objections to the Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme 15 days before the card is issued.
The property card will be granted to the eligible residents in this scenario if the candidates do not hear back from the government within the customary time frame. This property card will function as registration for citizens, certifying that the property is owned by the recipient citizen. Additionally, this plan would safeguard the property of non-resident Indians, and the government will take care of keeping track of tax payments.
Only permanent residents of Punjab would be considered eligible to qualify for the Punjab Mera Ghar Mera Naam Scheme 2022 benefits. For the benefits of this scheme, applicants must reside in a home that is inside the “Red Line.” To be eligible for this state government initiative, applicants must be residents of one of the state’s 12,700 villages and cities are known as the ‘Red Line.’
