Under the Sikshashree Scheme, scholars from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) with moderate family incomes enrolling in fifth to eighth grade will get an annual allowance of Rs. 800. Shikshashree Scholarship for helping SC day students in Classes V to VIII is created by integrating with the already existing book grants and maintenance grant scheme. It will give them ample financial options for the targeted SC and ST. Everyone will be able to take advantage of the benefits.
Students in grades 5 through 8 who require financial aid to enhance their academic achievement are eligible to apply for the scholarship. This scheme was created to provide financial opportunities to people of poor societies. Students can straightforwardly apply for this scheme by completing the application form.
– The state government offers an annual scholarship to ST and SC department students in classes V through VIII. – From grades V–VII and VIII, SC students would receive an annual scholarship of Rs. 800 and Rs. 800, respectively. – Scholarships in the ST category (for classes V through VIII) will be awarded at a rate of Rs. 800 annually. – Under this Scheme, the state government will arrange for students to open bank accounts.
