The Taruner Swapna Scheme 2023–24 will be introduced for pupils enrolled in the ninth grade, according to an official announcement. The state government will contribute a sum of Rs. 10,000 to the students’ bank accounts, enabling them to purchase a tablet or smartphone for their virtual learning. This is a one-time gift from the West Bengal government. The West Bengal Taruner Swapna Prakalpa provides free smartphones, tablets, and computers to almost 8 lakh students.
Its primary goal is to assist economically disadvantaged kids, regardless of their caste, creed, or gender. The government would reward students with Rs. 10,000 as part of this plan. This money would be distributed to students so that they may purchase mobile phones or tablets for their online education.

Applicants can verify the status of their payments whenever the government provides the beneficiary list. After the applicant’s school gives the authorities all the information, a final list of qualified kids is created. All of the students whose names are on the final list will get a transfer of Rs. 10,000 to their bank accounts following the preparation of this list.
