Purpose of the Chaa Sundori Housing Yojana

The West Bengal government launched the Scheme, which offers homeless tea garden workers free-of-cost prefabricated houses. The state administration has decided to raise the daily remuneration of tea labourers from Rs. 67 to Rs. 176. Under the Chaa Sundari Scheme, every eligible and homeless tea garden worker in West Bengal will receive a well-built dwelling.
