Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Rojgar Yojana
The central government will spend Rs 50 thousand crore on this scheme. This yojana will run for 125 days in 116 districts across six states Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand etc. This system has mostly picked 25 pieces. Employment possibilities will be developed rapidly with these 25 selected works. Throughout this 125-day campaign, more and more workers and labourers in the country will be hired.
The Prime Minister had initiated a package worth 70 thousand crore rupees for labourers, poor farmers, and others. Labourers and workers from other states who have returned home owing to the Coronavirus and want to work in their own area must develop skills and interest in their own area under the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan.

Objectives of PM Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan
The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan was established to assist returning migrant workers. This effort will give employment opportunities for migrant labourers who have arrived in their communities, and enhance their standard of living.
The greatest impact of this lockdown has been on the country’s labourers, who were living in other states due to work. Due to the closure of employment, they have been greatly impacted, and they must return to their homes due to a lack of jobs.

- You must visit your district’s Regional Labor Department.
