Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana

The Central Government has established the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Health insurance worth up to Rs 5 lakh is provided to low-income families through this scheme. All scheme recipients would receive free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh from empanelled facilities.

Ayushman CAPF Health Insurance Scheme

This scheme was launched as part of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. On the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, our country’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, introduced the Ayushman CAPF health insurance scheme. New Health Benefits under Ayushman Bharat Yojana 2023

The Ministry of Health has launched 265 new procedures as part of the new health benefits package. This plan will now cover a total of 1949 procedures. The Central Government has distributed approximately 35 lakh Ayushman health cards to CAPF troops and their families. All CAPF troops and their family are eligible for cashless treatment at any of the country’s 24000 hospitals.

A meeting of the National Health Authority and the Dental Council of India will be held soon in this regard. The introduction of a dental package under the scheme will be addressed at this meeting. For example, tooth fitting, tooth extraction due to tooth fracture, tooth repair, oral cancer, bacterial endocarditis, pyorrhoea, and so on.
