Objectives of the Digital Seva Scheme

Gujrat Digital Seva Setu Launch
On October 8, the digital Seva Setu program will go live. Initially, the program has introduced in about 2700 villages throughout the Gujarat state. The eight assembly constituencies’ villages are required to adhere to the model code of conduct. On November 3, the elections are scheduled to take place.
According to the relevant authorities, approximately 8,000 village panchayats will have access to high-speed internet service through December. The chief minister of Gujarat has posted details about the same project on the official Twitter account of the state. He stated in the official tweet that October 8th will mark the official launch of the Gujarat digital Seva Setu program.

Implementation Procedure
A revenue officer is supposed to provide affidavits at the village level, according to the scheme’s official information. The beneficiaries won’t need to travel to the notary offices in the cities that are close by. In addition, the beneficiaries will have the option to sign documents electronically rather than in person.
Rather than being delivered in physical form, the beneficiaries will receive the documents in a digital locker. Only their mobile phones will be able to access the customers’ documents.
The Bharat Net Project is the umbrella organization for the initiative. For residents living in rural areas, the plan will greatly simplify the process of handling documents. The gram panchayats will be connected to the data center located in Gandhinagar, and about 83% of the optical fiber network has already been installed.
