The objective of Indira Gandhi Awas Yojana 2023

  • Increase unit support from 70,000 to 12,0000 (1.2 lahks) in plain areas and from 75,000 to 130000 (1.3 lahks) in progressive states, challenging areas, and IP districts.
  • By combining MGNREGA and the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G) with other specialized funding sources, an additional ₹12,000 will be made available to people for toilets.
  • The National Technical Assistance Agency (SECC), which was founded under this plan, offers financial aid to the populace in addition to technical assistance with housing development.
  • According to this plan, the beneficiary’s bank account will receive payment via electronic benefit transfer. An Aadhaar card linking to the account is necessary in order to get the payment amount.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying IAY 2023

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • They should not own any property in India. Furthermore, no family member should be forced to give up their physical home.
  • Individuals who are buying or building their own homes are eligible for this program. This initiative does not apply to the renewal or any other reason.
  • Applicants should not have received any other government housing assistance.

  • Now, click on the Date Entry link, and log in using the Panchayat and Block level User ID and Password.
  • Then change your Username and Password.

    • Verification of photo by Awaas App
    • Download acceptance letter
    • Order sheet preparation for FTO
