Jaganna Amma Vodi Scheme

The scheme was launched as part of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s larger initiative known as Navaratnalu. The Chief Minister will assist all poor people in sending their children to school through the implementation of the Amma Vodi scheme. All the individuals on the Amma Vodi list will receive an Rs. 15000 annual incentive. Furthermore, the scheme’s implementation will encourage many students to visit Schools.

Objectives of the Jaganna Amma Vodi Scheme

The main goal of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the mother or recognised guardian of children living in poverty. Eligibility Criteria for Applying the Amma Vodi Yojana

The student must be from a low-income family.
The student must be a permanent and legal resident of Andhra Pradesh.
Students must have a valid Aadhar card number.
The student must have a white ration card.
The student must have a valid and working PAN card.
From the 2019-2020 academic year, the beneficiary must be a part of a government or private aided or unaided school/junior college, including residential schools/colleges in the state.
The student must have at least 75% attendance in the current academic year.
A State Government Official’s ward is not eligible for the scheme.

Application Procedure of the Yojana

Go to the Andhra Pradesh government’s official website.
on the homepage, select the “Jaganna Amma Vodi application form” option.
After successfully downloading the application form, carefully fill in all of the details such as Name, Address, and all other personal information.
Attach all necessary documents as well as a passport-size photograph of your child.
Check all of the information carefully and submit it to your nearest government office or upload it to the Andhra Pradesh government’s official website.

Guidelines for Jaganna Amma Vodi List

The Amma Vodi scheme’s preliminary actions will be carried out from December 9 to December 25.
On December 20th, all principals must register students and update their information.
With the help of sixth-level criteria, the authority will review the list of all the qualified mothers and guardians of the kids on 15th December 2022.
On December 15, APCFSS will receive information about all students whose information has been updated by that date.
According to the Sixth-level criteria, the authority will update the list of qualified mothers and carers on 19th December.
The school notice board and the notice board of the gram/ward secretariat are required to post all the information that is advertised on the Amma Vodi portal between December 20 and December 24.
Principals are responsible for correcting any errors in the IFSC code, Aadhar number, and bank account number.
The village/ward secretariat is required to submit to the collector any objections pertaining to disqualification. The submission process will follow the standard procedure, and the joint collector will address these objections.
The list will be created and released in 2022. By 2022, a final list that addresses objections will be posted on the portal.
In 2022, the final list will receive ward/gram sabha approval.
The village/ward educational welfare assistant is required to submit the final list online by 2022.
By 2022, the headmistress must deliver the list to the district educational officer via the zonal education officer.
By 2022, the district education officer must submit the list to the collector for the district.
