Selection Procedure of the LIC AAO Recruitment

There are three phases of the exam, a candidate needs to qualify to get selected for the AAO post.

Phase – 1: Preliminary Exam

It is an objective type online exam. The number of applicants shortlisted for the Mains exam will be equal to 20 times the number of openings in each category, pending availability.

Phase – 2: Main Exam

There are both objective and descriptive questions in two parts. Candidates must pass each section separately and obtain a minimum aggregate score.

Phase – 3: Interview & Medical Test

Only marks from the Main Examination will be considered for interview shortlisting. Furthermore, the marks obtained in the Main Examination as well as the Interview will be considered in the final merit listing of candidates. Following the interview, candidates will be subjected to a medical examination. According to the rules, only candidates who are medically fit will be considered for final appointment.
