Antyodaya Anna Yojana 2023
Antyodaya Ration Card will be issued to all Antyodaya Anna Yojana beneficiaries. Beneficiaries will receive a 35KG ration, which contains 20KG wheat and 15KG rice. Recipients can purchase wheat for ₹2/KG and paddy for ₹3/KG. This scheme is only available to persons who do not have a steady source of income or who are extremely destitute. On 25th December 2000, the Union Government started the Antyodaya Anna Yojana through the Ministry of Fertilizer Supply and Consumer Affairs. And, now it includes Divyangs also. This scheme has covered 10 lakh families.

Objectives of Antyodaya Anna Yojana
Many people in the country are unable to purchase food rations owing to budgetary constraints. The government has provided them with an Antyodaya card, but they still struggle to meet their financial necessities. In response to all of these issues, the national government has launched the Antyodaya Anna Yojana. Subsidized food for those with disabilities. Every month, the disabled will receive 35 kg of food grains for each family under this scheme.

How to Apply for Antyodaya Anna Yojana 2023?
Interested beneficiaries of the country who want to apply for Antyodaya Anna Yojana can do so by visiting their local Food Supply Department.
- Go to the Food Supply Department and obtain the Antyodaya Anna Yojana application form.
- Fill out the application form with the requested information, such as your name, residence, income, and phone number.
- After filling out all of the forms, attach all of the required documents to the application form.
- Then, submit the application form.
- After that, your application form will be reviewed, and the officer of the department will decide if he is entitled to get benefits or not.

Benefits of the Scheme
- Antyodaya card holders and disabled citizens of the country will benefit from this scheme.
- Every month, the beneficiary will receive low-cost food.
- The beneficiary would receive 35 kg of wheat at Rs 2/kg and paddy at Rs 3/kg under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana 2023.
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana is primarily for the poor; poor families in both urban and rural areas would benefit from this scheme.
- To obtain “Antodaya Ration Card” recognition, the family of the Antyodaya Parivar applicant would be given unique quota cards.
