- Employees of the federal or state governments are not eligible for this program.
- This scheme does not apply to retired central or state government personnel.
- This system is not available to taxpaying citizens.
- Those who apply for Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana between January 15, 2014, to January 26, 2015, will be eligible for life insurance coverage.

PM Jan Dhan Life Insurance Cover Scheme
If the beneficiary is involved in an accident, a cover of 1,00,000 is provided, and if the beneficiary dies, financial help of 30,000 is provided to the beneficiary’s family. Visiting the Portal
- Visit the official PFMS website. The official website’s home page will appear after you visit it.
- Know Your Payment is an option on this home page. You must choose this option. The next page will appear after you click the option.
- On this page, enter your bank name and account number. The account number must be entered twice here. Following the account number, you must enter the Captcha Code.
- Then, click Send OTP To Registered Mobile Number. After receiving this OTP on your phone number, input it to check your bank balance.
Giving a Missed Call
- You can also check your Jan Dhan amount by giving a missed call.
- If your Jan Dhan account is with the State Bank of India, you can give a missed call at 8004253800 or 1800112211 to check the amount.
- However, you must make a missed call from your registered phone number to check the Jan Dhan amount.
