The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has published the notification for the Judicial Services Civil Judge Examination 2022-23 (Junior Division). Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for the UP Civil Judge Recruitment. Candidates can access the official website beginning on December 10, 2022. Eligibility Criteria for Applying UP Civil Judge

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from any recognized University in India.
  • The age limit is between 22 to 35 years as of 01/07/2022. And, the age relaxation will be given as per Government Rules.

  • Visit the official website and click on “UPPSC Civil Judge Recruitment.”
  • Click on “Apply” and fill out the application form.
  • Check twice after filling out the form and uploading all the required documents.
  • Pay the fees through online Debit Card, Credit Card Net Banking or offline E-Challan Mode by January 6, 2023.
  • “Save” and “Download” the UPPSC Civil Judge Recruitment application form.

Selection Procedure of UP Civil Judge

Candidates must pass two written exams.

  • The Preliminary Written Exam (450 points) and
  • The Mains Written Exam (1000 points).

The qualified candidates must then qualify for the 100-point interview round. After that, qualified candidates will go through document verification and medical evacuations.

The preliminary exam contains Paper-I and Paper-II. The syllabus of the Paper-I examination includes

  • Dowry Prohibition Act 1961
  • Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005
  • Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013
