How to Apply for the Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment

From the 25th of January, applications can apply online. Candidates must complete the “Online” application by logging into the official website.

Selection Procedure of Coast Guard Assistant Commandant

The selection process consists of two stages, the first of which is a medical examination, followed by the preparation of the final merit. Candidates who make the final merit list are hired.

Stage – 1

  • Shortlisting will be based on bachelor’s degree grades. If more applicants with higher percentages apply, qualifying marks for some branches can be higher than 60%. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take the preliminary exam.
  • A preliminary test in English will be administered to candidates to assess their Mental Ability/ Cognitive Aptitude, as well as a Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP & DT). The preliminary test for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant will be objective.

Stage – 2

  • Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to the final round of selection. This examination will consist of a psychological test, a group task, and an interview (Personality test).
