About Odisha Kalia Scheme 2022

The Odisha Government’s Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) program. The greatest advantage of this program is that the government would offer financial aid to small and marginal farmers by granting them Rs.25000 per family over five seasons to enable them to acquire inputs like seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, and other investments.
Every landless agricultural household would get Rs. 12500 from the government for agriculturally related enterprises such as small goat raising units, mini-layer units, duckery units, fishing kits for fishermen, mushroom cultivation, and beekeeping, among others.
Vulnerable cultivators/landless agricultural laborers would additionally get Rs.10000/- per household each year to cover their basic needs.
Additionally, those who have a savings bank account and are over 18 but under 50 will receive a life insurance policy worth Rs. 2 lakhs at a discounted rate of Rs. 330 (The government of Odisha will pay Rs. 165).
Personal accident cover of Rs.2 lakh at a minimal fee of Rs.12/- (Rs.6 will be provided by the government of Odisha) to saving bank account holders above the age of 18 and under the age of 50.
The farmers will also be given a crop loan of Rs. 50000 at 0% interest.

Financial Assistance for Cultivation

Each farm family (people who share a common ration number) of a small and marginal farmer would earn Rs. 25000/farm across five seasons.

Financial support for the demands of agriculture is the goal.
Farmers can buy inputs such as seeds, fertilizer, and insecticides.

Financial Assistance for Livelihood

Each agricultural household without land will get Rs. 12,500 in cash aid for agriculturally related activities:

Small goat rearing unit

Bee-keeping, etc.

Financial Assistance for Vulnerable Agricultural Households

Each family of landless agricultural laborers or vulnerable farmers would get Rs. 10,000 per year in cash help for their maintenance. Aging, physical impairments, and/or other weak factors will identify the weak agricultural families.

Life Insurance for Cultivators and Landless Agricultural Labourers

For payment of Rs. 330, all cultivators and landless agricultural laborers in the age range of 18 to 50 who have savings bank accounts would obtain personal accident coverage of Rs. 2 lakh and life insurance coverage of Rs. 2 lakhs (Premium – Rs. 12)

The Odisha government will pay the farmers’ part of premiums for life insurance of Rs.165 and accident insurance of Rs.6 (farmers’ share).
For the age group of 51 to 70 years old landowners and landless laborers; an accidental cover premium of Rs 12. will be paid for in full by the state.

Interest-Free Crop Loan

Crop loans of up to Rs. 50000 would be made available to farmers identified by the gram panchayat.

To check the Kalia Scheme recipient list, candidates must complete the processes outlined below:

The “Beneficiary list” option must be selected from the menu bar on the main page.

The screen will change to a new page, where you must now choose your district name.
Select your Block/ULB after that, followed by GP.
You can receive the PDF link when you click the “View” button. Then, enter the captcha code.

To open the PDF, click “Submit,” and the PDF will show up on the computer screen.

To verify that your name is on the list, you must now check your Kalia ID, Village name, name, father’s or husband’s name, and gender.

Kalia Yojana Grievance Application Procedure

Applicants must go to the official website to make a complaint under the KALIA Yojana.
The website’s home page will display on the computer screen, from which you must pick the “online Grievance Application form” option located in the upper right-hand corner.

A new page with instructions will display on the screen; carefully read them before clicking the Proceed button.
On the screen, a question with two alternatives will appear: “Do you wish to submit a Grievance?” Both Yes and No
If you select yes, a new page will display in which you must input your Aadhar card number.
To view the grievance application form, select Show.
By providing the requested information on the application form, you may submit it by selecting the “submit” option.
