Uttar Pradesh Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2023

The state government will give the girls a total of Rs 15000 under this scheme. This total amount will be given to the girls in six equal installments. To get the benefit of the Kanya Sumangala scheme 2023, the girl’s family’s annual income should not be more than Rs 3 lakh. The Uttar Pradesh government has set a budget of Rs 1200 crore for this scheme.

The UP government launched this scheme to provide higher education to the state’s girls and brighten their future. To provide financial assistance to make the girls of the state self-sufficient and to establish an equal gender ratio under the Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2023. To eliminate feticide in society and to develop positive attitudes toward girls in society through this scheme.

Benefits of the Kanya Sumangala Scheme

Kanya Sumangla Yojana 2023 is a government initiative that focuses solely on the development of girls and their social security.
This scheme aims to remove all barriers to the safety and protection, health, and education of the state’s girl children.
The annual income of the beneficiary’s family must be less than three lakhs to benefit from this Yojana.
This scheme will provide benefits to a maximum of two girl children per family. If a woman in the state has twins during her second delivery, the third girl child will be eligible as well.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying the Scheme

It is required that the applicant be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
The applicant’s family’s annual income should be Rs 3 lakh or less.
If a family has adopted orphan girls, only two of the adopted girls can benefit from this scheme, and two more girls from that family can benefit from it as well. As a result, four girls in that family will be able to benefit from this scheme.
This scheme is only available to a maximum of two girls per family.
If a family has more than two children, the Kanya Sumangala Yojana will not be available to that family.
If a woman has twin daughters, each of her daughters will receive different benefits from this scheme. In this case, a family with three daughters, two twin daughters, and one additional daughter, can take advantage of the benefit.

Application Procedure of UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2023

Apply for Kanya Sumangala Yojana Online

Visit the Kanya Sumangala Yojana’s official website.
On the home page, click on the “Citizen Service Portal” option.
A new page will appear where you must register.

Before registering, you should check the rules, and click the “I agree” option.
After that, the registration form will open, enter all of the information requested in the form such as your name, address, mobile number, parent’s Aadhaar number, and so on.
Then verify it by entering an OTP.
Your registration will be completed once you enter the correct OTP and you will get a user ID.
Next, you need to log in to the MKSY Portal.

To log in, enter your user ID and password.
After registering, you will receive the girl registration form.
Here, you must fill out all of the information requested about your daughter, upload all necessary documents, and then click the submit button to complete the online application.

Apply for Kanya Sumangala Yojana Offline

You can get the application form for free from the aforementioned office.
Fill up all of the information requested on the application form and attach all of your required documents to it.
After that, you must submit your application form to the office of the Block Development Officer (DBO), SDM, Probation Officer, Deputy Chief Probation Officer, and so on.
Next, the filled-out applications will be sent to the District Probation Officer (DPO) by the responsible officer.
The DPO will feed all information online, and all subsequent processing of these offline applications will take place online.
