About Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi Yojana 2022

The Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi Yojana 2022 was introduced on Friday, August 26, 2022, by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During the budget for 2022–2023, the Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council announced the creation of this program. Mahila Nidhi has been formed in two states in the nation: Telangana and Rajasthan.

This scheme would provide loans to self-help organizations to do business and move the sector ahead. Under this system, loans up to 40,000 will be put in the bank account of the group of the member applying for within 48 hours, while loans greater than 40,000 will be deposited within 15 days.

 Currently, 270,000 self-help groups exist in 33 of the state’s districts. In the term 2022–2023, 50,000 Self-Help Groups are intended to be established, with 6 lakh households connected. That is, the Mahila Nidhi Yojana would gradually offer 36 lakh families in the state benefits so they may start businesses to meet their requirements.

Currently, nearly 36 lakh families are projected to profit from the Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi initiative. It will unfold in stages. During the occasion, Gehlot also gave loans totaling 1.42 crores to women from 386 self-help groups spread over six districts. He also rewarded eight Rajeevika community cadre ladies.

After Telangana, Rajasthan is the second state to implement a unique program for female entrepreneurs. It tries to improve self-help organizations through financial assistance. The initiative would increase the incomes of low-income and disadvantaged households.

To expand the scheme’s advantages, the state government has also formed an agreement with Amazon to allow women entrepreneurs to sell their items online. It will consider products manufactured or produced by more than 15,000 businesswomen or self-help group members.

• The Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi Yojana 2022 was introduced by the state’s chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, at a state-level celebration of Women’s Equality Day on August 26, 2022.
• During the state’s budget 2022-23, it was announced that this plan will be established under the Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council.
• Self-help organizations will be given soft loans under this program to support their entrepreneurial endeavors and company growth.
• Loans up to Rs 40,000 will be credited to the bank account of the member’s organization within 48 hours, and loans beyond ₹40,000 will be credited within 15 days.

• In 33 districts of Rajasthan, 270000 Self Help Groups have been established, with 30 lakh households participating.
• In the fiscal year 2022-23, 50,000 new self-help groups will be founded, with 6 lakh households linked.
• In other words, this program would gradually give loans for business to 36 lakh families in Rajasthan.
• The state’s women would be able to become financially self-sufficient through the Mahila Nidhi Yojana Rajasthan 2022, allowing them to participate in the state’s overall development.
