West Bengal Khadya Sathi Scheme

The West Bengal state government has launched the Khadya Sathi Scheme. It is one of the West Bengal government’s poverty-reduction initiatives. The Scheme aims to sell or distribute rice and other food commodities at meagre prices to the poor people of West Bengal.

Under the Khadya Sathi Scheme, the state government has vowed to give rice and wheat to about 70 million individuals for Rs 2, representing 90% of West Bengal’s entire population. Approximately 50 lakh individuals will be able to purchase half-priced cereals. The purchasing price is usually half of the market price, which is insured for individuals with national ID cards or ration cards.

• You will get the Khadya Sathi form from the Ration Shop.

• Collect the application form and fill it out carefully.
• Attach all essential documents to the application form.
• Submit all the papers in the same ration shop.
• Concerned officials will double-check the information.
• After verification, the selected beneficiary will receive the Khadya Sathi Card.

Online Mode: Khadya Sathi Application

• Visit the Department of Food and Supplies Portal.

• Choose the “Khadya Sathi Beneficiary” option.
• Select “New Applicant” and enter the Mobile Number.
• Enter the received OTP to verify the mobile number.
• Fill out the Khadya Sathi Application Form and upload all necessary documents.
• Then, preview it and click the “Submit” option.
• Department officials will review the completed Khadya Sathi Form.
• After verification, the selected beneficiary will receive the Khadya Sathi Card.

Check the Khadya Sathi Status

• Go to the official website, and enter your mobile number.
• Enter the received OTP and click the ‘Login’ button to access your account.
• Now, select the ‘Status’ option to view your Khadya Sathi Status.

Types of Khadya Sathi Forms

The government publishes forms on its website for applying for a new ration card or making modifications to an existing ration card. Anyone can easily download and submit this form to the nearest government office.
