West Bengal Manabik Pension Scheme

The WB Manabik Pension Scheme is also known as the “West Bengal Disability Pension Scheme” or the “West Bengal Pension Scheme for Disabled People”. All qualified disabled beneficiaries would get a monthly pension of Rs. 1,000/- under the Manabik Pension Scheme. The WB Manabik Pension Scheme is a sub-scheme of the Jai Bangla system, which is an umbrella system for all West Bengal pension schemes.

A person with a disability of 40% or more is eligible for a monthly stipend under the Manabik stipend Scheme. The Disabled Beneficiary’s Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per year. All Eligible Beneficiaries can apply for a monthly stipend under the WB Manabik stipend Scheme by completing an Application Form.

An eligible beneficiary would receive a monthly stipend of ₹1000/-
This initiative will provide a monthly stipend to Specially Abled persons.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying the Scheme

The applicant should be a permanent resident of West Bengal or have lived here for the past 10 years.
The applicant must be a disabled person with a 40% or greater disability.
The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- per year.
The applicant must not be a member of any other pension scheme.

Application Procedure of West Bengal Manabik Pension Scheme

You can download the application form from the official site and take a printout of it.

Or, you can collect the form from the following places.
- Block Development Officer Office.
- Sub Divisional Officer Office.
- Kolkata Municipal Commissioner Office.
Fill up the application form, and attach the required documents.
After that, submit it to the following office from where you got the application form.
The officials will check your application and the documents.
After initial verification, the District Magistrate will provide final approval.
Then only the beneficiaries will get the financial assistance.
