About Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Khel 2022

The Rajasthan Government has announced the Rajasthan Rural Olympic Games on August 29, 2022. Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, has authorised a budget of Rs 40 crore for Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Khel 2022. This money would go to the departments of sports and education.

The Chief Minister began this on Monday by hoisting the state flag in Pal village, Luni assembly constituency. On this occasion, CM Gehlot Ji also saluted the procession of players.

The President of the Sports Council, Krishna Poonia Ji, stated during the opening ceremony that this game is the largest event ever. This will generate a lot of skills. He claims that after I won a medal at the Commonwealth Games, CM Ashok Gehlot Ji resolved to encourage sports in Rajasthan. Sports medal winners receive out-of-context appointments and financial aid.

More Than 2 Lakh Teams Are Participating in The Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Games

The Chief Minister announced the launch of this plan in the budget. This is a one-of-a-kind Khel Mahakumbh, held for the first time in the state. More than 2 lakh teams from the state’s gramme panchayats are playing in kabaddi, shot the ball, volleyball, hockey, kho-kho and tennis, and ball cricket.

The participation in these teams by more than 30 lakh participants would break world records. It has a male population of 19 lakh 90 thousand 574 and a female population of 9 lakh 21 thousand 504. Rajasthan will host the Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Games 2022 from August 29 until October 5, 2022.

This Khel Mahakumbh excites State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Ji. The Chief Minister has arrived in Jodhpur to officially begin the Rural Olympic Games Scheme. During this time, he is accompanied by all MLAs and Congress office-bearers, including Minister-in-Charge Subhash Garg, Sports Minister Ashok Chandna, and Sports Council President Krishna Poonia.

Rajasthan Rural Olympic Games Will Be Organized in Four Levels

There will be four tiers of organisation for this event throughout the state. The Games will be held at the Gram Panchayat on August 29th, first and foremost. The block-level games will thereafter be scheduled on September 12th. Sports events at the district level will thereafter be held beginning on September 22 for 4 days.

Finally, state-level sporting contests will be held on October 2nd. 30 lakh players have applied to compete in the Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Khel 2022. This includes around 20 lakh male gamers and approximately 10 lakh female players. According to the applications, a total of 11 lakh players have applied to play Kabaddi.

Committees Were Constituted at The Gram Panchayat and Block Level

The state government has formed several committees to organise sporting events at the 11,341 gram-panchayat and 352 block levels. The Sarpanch will convene these committees, while the sub-divisional officer would convene the committees created at the block level.

Along with this, a budget of Rs 10 crore 38 lakhs has been set up for the gramme panchayats for food, transportation, and other amenities for the participating players, and Rs 7 crore for the block-level event.

This athletic event was started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji with the primary goal of giving exceptional athletes from the state’s rural districts an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
