The Central Region Power Distribution Company of Madhya Pradesh has launched the Nishtha Vidyut Mitra Yojana in an effort to empower and make women independent. How to Apply for Nishtha Vidyut Mitra Scheme?

To get benefits from this scheme, the person need to download “UPAY APP” from play store and do the followings.

  • Go to Google Play Store and search for ‘Upay’.
  • Click the first option comes in the list.
  • Install the app and open it.
  • Fill the form with the asked information and submit it.
  • After that, pay the bill online using this app to get the benefits.

Incentives Given to the Beneficiaries

  • 15% incentive is applied to the amount the self-help group recovers in comparison to the prior year, according to the half-yearly computation.
  • For each new single-phase connection issued, a bonus of Rs 50 would be granted.
  • For providing connections for 3 phase irrigation pumps, the candidate will get Rs. 200/- per connection as an incentive payment.
  • There will be a 100 rupee reward for each additional three-phase connection issued (irrigation pumps excluded).
  • If power theft is reported, the case is verified, and the bill amount is paid, a 10% incentive will be awarded.
