Pradhan Mantri Sauchalay Yojana 2023
During the first phase (2014-2019), efforts were undertaken to put an end to the practice of open defecation in rural regions. More than 100 million toilets were built in villages, districts, and states across India as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission’s Sauchalay Yojana.
The Government of India has begun Phase 2 of the Swachh Bharat Mission, under which individuals are encouraged to build toilets in order to preserve a defecation-free situation in rural/urban regions and for frequent use of toilets.
The Government of India is implementing a toilet project in urban and rural areas of the country as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Eligibility Criteria for Applying the Scheme
- Only individuals who do not currently have a Latrine will be eligible for this plan.
- All such people live in poverty.
- If you participate in another similar scheme, you will be ineligible for this one.
- The applicant must be an Indian national.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban) Phase 2 Toilet Scheme Apply Online
- If residents of urban areas want to apply for the toilet scheme, they must go to the official website.
- Go to the applicant login portion of the website and select the new applicant option.
- A new page will appear; fill out the required information and click the register button.
- You will now be given your Login Id. Which you will receive via email or text message.
- Now, enter your Login Id and Password to access the website.
- Following that, the Swachh Bharat Mission Toilet Application Form will appear on your screen.

- Now that your application is complete, print the number of Acknowledgement Slips on your screen and keep them securely.

- On the front page, click on the citizen corner; after you do, you will notice a link to the Application form for IHHL; click on it.
- The form for citizen registration will now appear on the new page.
- From here, select the citizen registration link.
- On the new page, the registration form will appear. You must enter your mobile number, name, gender, address, state, and captcha code as your login id.
- Finally, click the submit button to complete the form.
- When you submit, a notice indicating that your portal registration was successful will appear on your screen.
Registration using Log-in ID
You can gain official access to the IHHL portal by entering your Login ID. You only need to input the login ID and verification code beneath the applicant’s login section. After you send the request for OTP generation, you will be forwarded an OTP. The OTP will be sent to your email address, and you must enter it for verification. Next, you must select the log-in option.
Once the OTP confirmation process is complete, you will be sent to the application form where you may access your login details. It is likely that you will be required to provide all of the information requested below.

How to Apply Online for Pradhan Mantri Sauchalay Yojana?
After successful registration, you can create a login ID, and password. Now, login and follow the given step to apply for Pradhan Mantri Sauchalay Yojana 2023.
- You must first provide your state, district, block, tehsil, town or city, and ward information.
- Each tab’s choices can be made using the drop-down menu provided next to it.
- Next, you must supply information about the toilet owner such as name, profession, father’s and mother’s names, residential address, contact details (mobile and landline) number, and valid Aadhar card number.
- The candidates must then supply bank information such as their bank account number, branch location, and bank name (to be selected from the drop-down menu).
- Then, under the status of existing toilets, choose one of the following options: non-existent type, dry type latrine, or unclean type.
- Once all of the information has been entered, you only need to acknowledge the application form and submit it. You may be required to supply at least two references, including their names and contact information.
